03 Safari cruises badly burned

Three crews of a safari yacht 'MV Maavahi' have been badly burned whilst trying to burn the waste after a barbeque fire in an uninhabited island. The incident occurred in Fulhangi island, near Villingili, the capital of North Huvadhoo Atoll. According to reports, a petrol container was mishandled and caught fire. The victims sustained heavy burns, up to 35% - 80%. Victims names are, Hussain Zameen, 31, K. Guraidhoo, Roazee Villa, Hussain Manikfaan, 20, S. Feydhoo, Falhoamaage and Mohamed Rasheed, 29, Male', Eraivaru. Reports say that Hussain Manikfaan suffered the most severe burns, up to 80%. The incident occurred around 10 pm last night but were taken to the health centre at 02:15 am, more than four hours later. They were airlifted to Male' for further treatment today. Their conditions are quite serious, reports say.
